Dr Dawn Lawson - Chief Executive Officer
Dr Dawn Lawson, who has a PhD in health psychology and a Masters in Public Administration, has a wealth of experience working in research and innovation across academia and the NHS. Dawn strongly believes in the importance of clinical evidence and research in improving healthcare and wellbeing and will be driving forward co-ordinated partnership working to impact real, positive changes on the local population.
Sarah Wright - Head of Delivery and Performance (Deputy Director)
Sarah is responsible for the development and operational delivery of the Programme Management Team at LHP. She is also Secretary to the LHP Board and LHP Governance Committee.
Rachel Davies - Research Facilitator
Rachel is a Research Facilitator at Liverpool Health Partners and works in our Industry Gateway Office (IGO) which aims to facilitate and streamline commercial study set up.
Rachel has a varied background in research governance and has previously worked as an R&D facilitator at the Countess of Chester and prior to this, worked in Health and Care Research Wales as a trial administrator. Alongside this experience, Rachel has a degree in Business Studies (BA Hons) and continues to apply her knowledge and skills to move the crucial work of the IGO forwards.
Collette Lorne - Office Manager / PA
Collette Lorne is the Office Manager / PA at Liverpool Health Partners and is the main point of contact for managing and coordinating the general day-to-day activities across LHP and its stakeholders, including all the processes behind the Finances of LHP.
Collette in addition, assists in maintaining LHPs social media presence. She provides the necessary detailed support and assistance to the Chairman, Director of Operations, LHP Directors, LHP Clinical Academic Programme Leads, Education Programme Manager, Strategic Programme Manager and Stakeholders to ensure that the LHP functions at its highest level.
Dr. Neil Goodwin CBE
Neil Goodwin is an experienced board chair, leadership academic and a former chief executive in the NHS. As a leadership academic, Neil was visiting professor of leadership studies at Manchester Business School for over ten years, when he also consulted on strategy and leadership development, and undertook confidential inquiries into board governance. He is the author of Leadership in Healthcare, the first book of its kind set in a European context. Neil holds postgraduate degrees from London and Manchester Business Schools and in 2007 he was appointed CBE for services to the NHS.
Paul Burdett - Cardiovascular
Burdett recently started at LHP, appointed to Programme Manager for Cardiovascular research. Paul is a Chartered Management Accountant and prior to joining LHP Paul worked at a number of programme and financial roles within local government authorities, higher education institutions, and commercial organisations.
